Why is real estate a good investment?

-It could decline in value somewhat in a recession or down market, but it will likely recuperate, and it is never gone.
-Many of the costs can be tax deductible and provide significant tax savings.
What investing in real estate really means.
Real estate investing isn’t all about flipping houses and/or collecting rent—it’s about building long-term wealth. I am passionate about helping people build their net worth and set themselves up for long-term financial success. I’ve personally purchased and managed rental properties of my own, so I understand firsthand both the opportunities and responsibilities that come with investing.
When you purchase a rental property, your tenants help pay down the mortgage while you build equity over time. Properties tend to appreciate in value over time which further increases your net worth—all while potentially generating rental income and providing tax benefits.
A big part of what I do is help clients identify and evaluate the right investment properties, understand the numbers, and determine whether a property fits their goals. I can also help with finding and vetting prospective tenants, so you can feel confident about who is renting your property.
I don’t deal in distressed properties-no short sales, foreclosures, or auctions. I look for properties in great condition that can be quickly refreshed and rented to a tenant. I find properties that you can buy for less than market value to maximize potential profit down the road. Most importantly, I evaluate whether the market rent would be high enough to cover your expenses for the property.
